Janet delivers a FREE one-hour information session to school groups called “What You Need to Know About Scholarships”. The presentation provides information on the different kinds of scholarships available for high school students, plus key pieces of information students and parents need to know, such as how to find them, and when and how to apply for them. This information could save you thousands of dollars!
The information sessions are meant for students in Grades 10, 11, and 12, and their parents. Some groups Janet has presented to before include the Ontario School Counsellors Association, several high school classes, grade 11 and 12 school assemblies, a School Advisory Committee, home-schooled students and their parents, a teenage tutoring group, and many more.
This will be Janet's 4th year delivering these sessions, and feedback is always overwhelmingly positive. Here's what one Counsellor had to say:
"Hi Janet, I just listened to your presentation. It was by far the best one I've heard. I worked in Financial Aid for a number of years at a post-secondary institution before my role as Academic Counsellor, so I've seen various presentations & read many resources. Thanks for your insight."
These presentations are delivered via Zoom, on Janet's Zoom account. A minimum number of people are required. Sessions can be held during the day or evening.
